Overview

Ankiren Vietnamese (vietnamese.ankiren.com) is a product of the Ankiren lifelong-learning platform. This policy describes what data we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account information: when you sign in with Google through Ankiren IAM we receive your name, email address and profile picture. Usage data: courses you enroll in, lesson progress, courses you create as an instructor, and text you submit to the TTS Studio. Billing records: credit grants, top-ups, consumption and invoices tied to your account.

How we use information

We use your data solely to operate the service: keeping you signed in across Ankiren products, syncing learning progress, generating audio you request, processing credits and invoices, and sending in-app notifications about your wallet and courses. We do not sell your data and we do not show third-party advertising.

Third-party services

Sign-in uses Google OAuth. The site runs on Cloudflare infrastructure. Text you submit to the TTS Studio is sent to the AI voice provider (Google Gemini API) to generate audio and is subject to that provider's terms. We share only what is necessary for each service to function.

Cookies & local storage

We use a session cookie on the .ankiren.com domain to keep you signed in across Ankiren products, and the browser's localStorage to remember preferences such as your display language. We do not use tracking cookies.

Data retention & your rights

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us through ankiren.com. Billing records may be retained where required for accounting.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Significant changes will be announced on this page with a new "last updated" date.
